Vibration Sensor

Accelerometers and vibration sensors for machine, structure and blast vibration measurement.

Vibration Sensor
We supply piezoelectric accelerometers and impact hammers for structural testing, vibration control, drop and quality testing, machinery studies and modal analysis. The general purpose accelerometers are available with two outputs: high-impedance charge output (PE mode) and low-impedance voltage output (IEPE mode). IH series impact hammers have a rugged force sensor built into the striking face, in sizes for small to large structures, with a choice of tips to tailor the frequency range of the impulse.

Key features

  • Piezoelectric accelerometers, PE (charge) or IEPE (voltage) output
  • Models for different sensitivities and mounting
  • Impact hammers from miniature to 100 lb class
  • Interchangeable tips to set the impulse frequency range
  • For modal analysis, resonance checks and structural health testing
General purpose accelerometers

General purpose accelerometers

Piezoelectric accelerometers in two output types: high-impedance charge output (PE mode) and low-impedance voltage output (IEPE mode). Used for structural testing, vibration control and testing, drop testing, quality testing, machinery studies and modal testing. Models: 221A10, 221A200, 221A500, 221A1000, and 222A10 to 222A1000.
Impact hammers

Impact hammers

IH series impact hammers have a rugged force sensor built into the striking face. Different hammer sizes suit different test objects, and a set of tips lets you tailor the frequency range of the impulse. Used for structural health testing, resonance checks and modal analysis. Pulse width and frequency response change with the hammer head and tip (steel, aluminium, nylon or rubber), so the choice should be confirmed by actual testing.

Vibration calibrators

Keep your vibration measurements trustworthy. Our vibration calibrators produce a known, stable vibration so you can check sensor sensitivity and the whole measurement system, from quick hand-held checks in the field to full calibration in the laboratory. See the models below.
